Create an In-App Purchase key

Create the In-App Purchase key Voidhash uses to verify transactions and sign offers.

The In-App Purchase key lets Voidhash verify StoreKit transactions with the App Store Server API and sign promotional offers. You need three values: the Issuer ID, the Key ID and the .p8 private key file. Creating the key needs the Account Holder or Admin role.

  1. In App Store Connect, open Users and Access → Integrations and choose In-App Purchase.
  2. Click Generate In-App Purchase Key, or + if you already have one. Name it, for example Voidhash, and create it.
  3. Click Download to save the .p8 file.
  4. Copy the Key ID from the key's row and the Issuer ID from the top of the page.
  5. In Studio, on the In-app purchase key tab, enter the Issuer ID and Key ID, upload the file as the P8 key file, and click Save changes.

If no Issuer ID appears, create any key under App Store Connect API once. The Issuer ID is one value for your whole team and then shows on both pages.

You can download the key only once

Store the .p8 file somewhere safe. If you lose it or it's exposed, revoke the key and create a new one.
